One of the things in the USA that happens routinely is something
that doesn’t happen routinely in Russia.
That thing is ICE. When you get
to a restaurant your drinks are not served with ice. If you want ice then you ask for it and in
two of the places we ate during our weekend in Moscow this is how it was served
to us. Also, I love the little coca cola
bottles they have……..right along with the cute little coca cola glass.
We were also served sea salt in four different flavors…….one with
beet juice, one was baked and one had vinegar flavor. The other one was plain sea salt, no
flavoring!! They tasted good, not overwhelming
in their flavors.
Had the ice experience in Mexico too.. we had to ask.. Now that's cool - have not thought about flavoring up sea salt before - that might be something to experiment with.. thanks for sharing..
