We were at the dairy pretty early this morning and I noticed
something in the sky shortly before the sun made its appearance. The moon was very clear and only one star was
visible and the sky was not cloudy.
Actually got some decent pictures of this but from my eye view (as
opposed to the camera lens view) the star and moon were much closer.
Your STAR, I think, is not a star but the planet Venus! Check the internet for the "position of Venus" and see! Venus often appears near the horizon about sunrise! Hard to see in the day but it is brighter than any star!
