February 6 Second day at Agrofarm Farm Show

Feb 6^th

Second day in Saint Petersburg and the Farm Show. 

First breakfast at the hotel.

 

At the show we saw some cows that were all decorated up for the show, poor things.

Lunch with a friend of Lewis’ that he used to work with, yummy soup.

When we walked back to the metro station after the show there is a long line of people selling goods lined up on the sidewalk.  Don’t make eye contact.

 

Before catching a train this evening we went to a restaurant for dinner and Lewis and I got a buffet, this was one of the plates we of food.  Dessert was a honey cake, I have been looking for this since May 2012 when we had it on the airplane coming to Russia.  Got the dessert to go.  We were too full to eat it at the restaurant.  When we did eat it I was pleasantly surprised, it was very close in taste to the dessert on the airplane. 

 

Outside of the train station was this pretty lit up tree.  Still shots didn’t give it justice so I got a short video.
