October 17 - 25 Trip to China Hotel Room
Inside the room – There was a
living room area and then a big bed which was very inviting especially during
the jet lag adjustment days. BIG bathroom with a separate shower, and
bathtub/shower. In the closet we have a gas mask, for emergency use only……of
course. Also slippers and robes that look like they are hugging each other.
Also a flashlight or “emergency torch” as the sign says.
My favorite part was in
the nightstand next to my side of the bed. When you pull the drawer out there
are controls to lights and the TV. But also there is a switch that illuminates
a sign outside the door in the hallway. One says “Do Not Disturb” and the other
says “Make up Room” So cool, and there’s even a doorbell. Then we discovered
something else different, I made a video of the door latch/lock system. I think
it is better than the latches we have in the American Hotel rooms.
Lovely room and coolish hardware and all the nice touches.. was the bed comfortable..that's what's important..
