Last night I heard some strange noises from the bathroom
but really didn’t think much about it until in the middle of the night when I
got up to go to the bathroom. No water
to flush!!! This has happened before but
doesn’t last for very long.
In the morning the cold water was still off, which makes
it impossible for showers. You have to
wash hands really quickly too because the hot water is scalding within
seconds. So off to the office and the
water will be back on tonight.
Got back to the apartment at 6:00pm and the cold water
was still off, so we asked Sergey to check with our neighbors to see if their
water was off also. Found out that a
pipe was broken and they are working on getting it fixed. Not so good not knowing when there will be
cold water again. So we filled a large
bottle with hot water to at least have something to flush the toilet with and
set it in the bathroom.
I knew that the water was bad, but these pictures show
just why we were told not to drink or cook with this water. Disgusting!!!
About 9:30pm I heard those same noises and thought that
something else had gone wrong, but actually it was the pipes working
again. Thank goodness!!!
